Instead of doing a magazine cover, I decided to re-create Shawn Mendes' album cover "Shawn Mendes". :) Shawn's: Mine: 

Something I feel I have inherited from my family is my sense of faith. I have grown up in a Filipino family that is strongly rooted in the Catholic faith (as in Mass every Sunday). Like the rosary woven in between my fingers, my faith has been intertwined in my life and has made an impact on me. The rosary itself is glowing as an homage to the saying that Jesus is "the light of the world."

Reflection questions: 1.) 1/13  f/3.5  ISO 200 2.) I chose to take a picture of my "identity" in the reflection of a spoon. This represents me in a few ways. Because my life has been so busy, I feel as though I am upside down sometimes and nothing makes sense. Also, (like all teenagers) I admit I am a little vain as represented in the way I am holding the spoon and how the spoon is also in the reflection of a mirror. Lastly, the spoon is my favorite utensil. :) 3.) I think I captures the reflection in the spoon really well. 4.) I think the photo would be better with a reflection of myself in the mirror and without that metal ring in the reflection of the mirror.

Shapes or Other Elements that Enclose the Object Light/Shadow Environmental Elements Architectural Elements Reflection: What camera metering mode (evaluative/matrix, center-weighted or spot) did I use for each image and why? For all of the photos, I used center weighted metering because all of the photos have a subject that needed to be exposed correctly.  What white balance settings did I use for each image? auto auto Sunny Cloudy Do I have a strong composition? Give specific support as to why/why not. Yes, I think I have strong composition. In image 1, the rail frames the subject really well and I also like how it looks like she is "spilling" out of it. In image 2, although the "frame" does not have all four sides, it still causes the audience to focus in on the subject because it is framed by two fixtures.
